Julie and Justin’s wedding at the Seaport Hotel was just spectacular! Their love for each other was a joy to witness. Rabbi Baruch Halevi, from Congregation Shirat Hayam of the North Shore did a beautiful job officiating and making their ceremony very special. Winston Flowers artistic masterpieces filled the room with a sense of awe and delight. My heartfelt wishes go out to Julie and Justin and their families. Julie-Ann and Brant’s wedding at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, MA, was one of the more creative weddings I’ve seen! Julie-Ann had the artistic vision; creating all the paper flowers, boutonnieres, fun signage, and so many more incredibly artful details. Let’s not forget about the jar of “staches” and lips :). Brant and Julie-Ann have a magnificent sense of humor and wit, and their love for each other spills out, embracing all their friends and family. It was such a joy to witness Lindsay and Morgan’s love for each other. These two met when they were only fifteen years old, and now ten years later have decided to tie the knot! Lindsay’s dress was an amazingly artistic expression of her personal vision. Every detail was just beautiful, be sure to have a look at the floral arrangements done by Dana Markos Events. Congregation Shirat Hayam of Boston’s North Shore honored their beloved Cantor, Emil Berkovits for his beautiful voice and his many years of inspired and devoted service. In Yiddish, there is a very special word “mensch”, which means a person of integrity and honor. Truly this describes Cantor Berkovits! The outpouring of love and enthusiasm for Cantor Emil was a testament to how many hearts and lives he has touched throughout his career. Mazal Tov Cantor Emil!!
For the entertainment of the evening, the stars and creators of the longest running comedy in off-Broadway history brought excerpts of their production of “Jewtopia Live” to Congregation Shirat Hayam.
