Michele Mottola at Special Events Consulting says:

“It is obvious that David Tucker loves what he does as his pictures always represent the essence of the person who is on the other end of the camera. He is warm, compassionate and so unbelievably talented.   David always scouts out his locations prior and makes many considerations that include LIGHTING,  background, accessibility, timing and ease for guests being photographed all before the event is in full swing. This pro activeness absolutely contributes to the success of any event.  I know my clients are in great hands when they select David Tucker, it is off my list of things to worry about.”

Congratulations to Shrey and Akshay, or as their friends affectionately call them, “Akshrey”. What a magnificent wedding they had at Hilton Boston, Woburn! The day was filled with a dazzling display of colors, music and joyous energy!

The day started out with the bride being draped in her beautiful wedding Sari, and adorned with traditional Indian jewelry. The groom then was honored with the Baraat, Akshays wedding procession. Everybody was going wild as the groom paraded around the hotel on his horse surrounded by guests dancing ecstatically to the intoxicating beat.

The Puja ceremony was up next where the groom is ritually welcomed into the family by the brides mother. The wedding ceremony began as Shrey, fully adorned in traditional garb, was was then carried to the wedding Mandap (sacred stage) on a Palki (Palanquin) for the ceremony.

After the richly ornamented ceremony on the Mandap, the couple had their Vidhai (farewell to the parents) ceremony followed by a fun ride-around in a decorated rickshaw, (mini three wheeled Indian taxi). The couple then changed into party attire and the toasts, dinner, and dancing went full blast till the late hours of the night.

Big thanks to Sayjal Menon and Ambika Patel of Blue Print Occasions for coordinating this extraordinary day and to Deejay Yogz of Boston Sound and Light Company for inspiring the guests with his insanely hot grooves.

Thanks to Cakeology, Masala Art, Prasang Decorations, Shweta Takede from Henna Bridal, Makeup by Khusboo,

Please join me in celebrating this awesome couple, and enjoy the selection of highlights from the day!

What a beautiful spring wedding in Salem! I absolutely adore this couple; they’re so sweet and fun-loving. It was such a joy to photograph Alison and Michael’s amazing day!!

The historic House of the Seven Gables’ outdoor garden was in full bloom and a perfect place for a romantic and fun stroll. Their outdoor ceremony, with charming water views, was spirited and heartfelt. Their reception was a great combination of elegance and wild fun at the uber cool, contemporary, and artsy Peabody Essex Museum.
These two were just beaming throughout the day. Their enthusiastic family and friends brought the party to life, and kept the energy going throughout the night, with help from their awesome DJ from First Class Weddings.
Special thanks to:  Deb Costa, special events manager at the House of the Seven Gables, Natalia Laskaris, event coordinator at the PEM, Hawthorne Catering, Montilio’s Bakery, and Flowers by Diane for all their creativity and efforts toward making this a wedding to remember.
Enjoy the photos and please join me in congratulating Alison & Michael!

Allison and Brian’s wedding was such a beautiful and joyous occasion. The couple began their day at the elegant Langham Hotel in the heart of Boston; a classic and stylish place to get ready for their special day. Their ceremony was held at the awe inspiring St Ignatius of Loyola church on the gorgeous campus of Boston College. The wedding party had fun strolling around the campus for photos. It was a stroll down memory lane for Allison and Brian and their BC friends . Their amazing reception was held at the Boston College Club on the 36th floor of 100 Federal Street downtown Boston. The views were spectacular! Thanks to Chelsea Rennie at the Club for coordinating this amazing party. Thanks also to Meggin Hunt at The Singing Flower for her gorgeous floral arrangements and to DJ Dave at Good Times Unlimited for a spirited night of music and dancing. It was a great pleasure to work with this wonderful family! The Bat Mitzvah service was held at Boston’s oldest Jewish temple, Temple Ohabei Shalom in Brookline. What a spectacular place to photograph! Following the service was an insanely fun party at Revere Hotel, Space 57, the Liberty Hall Room coordinated by Jalene Buckner of Top Notch Events. A hearty Mazel Tov and enjoy the photos!!
