Cathy and Alex went the extra mile (in fact, many miles) to design the wedding of their dreams at the renowned Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge. They, along with family and friends arrived from the Philippines after much long distance wedding planning. The stylish Westin Hotel in Copley Square, Boston, was a perfect spot to prepare for the big day. The architecturally spectacular Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Harvard Square, Cambridge was the location for their beautiful and stately wedding ceremony. The Harvard Art Museum, was the elegant and artistic choice for their reception. Many thanks to The Catered Affair for their artful creations and to the entire team at the museum. It was a pleasure to be the artistic witness for this joyous occasion. Please join me in congratulating this amazing couple who I feel are now are like good friends!
I had such a fun time photographing Alex and Cathy’s engagement session in the Arnold Arboretum and JP Pond in Jamaica Plain, a neighborhood of Boston. What an awesome and fun loving couple. Cathy had to get used to the cold weather as she had just arrived from their home in the Philippines. I’m looking forward to sharing their wedding photos from the Harvard Art Museum. The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, one of my favorite places on the planet, was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and is the second largest “link” in the Emerald Necklace. Jamaica Pond, a kettle pond, was also designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted. Please enjoy the photos!
Wow! What a great Bar Mitzvah party Max had at Misselwood!! I loved working with him and his family!! Thanks to Janie Haas Events who did a spectacular job in designing and keeping this party humming along seamlessly! The 1928 Misselwood mansion is a gorgeous venue by the sea with a permanent tent for parties and a spectacular ocean view. Thanks also to Orly Khon Floral Boutique for their incredible floral designs!! Please join me with a resounding “Mazel Tov” for Max and his family!
Check out highlights from Max’s “High-Five” portrait session and pre-Bar Mitzvah family photos at Temple B’Nai Abraham in Beverly, MA. “High-Five” portrait sessions are done before the Mitzvah celebration and are a fantastic way to celebrate the authentic qualities and interests of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
Max is crazy about sports and an amazing athlete with a room full of trophies. Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, is his idol and Max’s framed and signed Brady football jersey is one of his most prized possessions.
It was touching to photograph Max’s family and grandparents at the temple. From generation to generation; Max steps up to take his place in the life of the Jewish community. It is a milestone full of meaning for him and his family. It was such a pleasure to be an artistic witness to this joyous moment. Stay tuned for the party pics at Misselwood; another inspired celebration by Janie Haas Events. Enjoy the photos!
Liz (from the US) and Robbie (from the UK), chose the scenic Saybrook Point Inn and Marina in Saybrook, Connecticut for their intimate and heartfelt wedding celebration. This peaceful and charming venue is located where the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River meet. It was a joy to photograph this sweet couple, surrounded by a seaside gathering of family and close friends. Their ceremony took place on the waterfront at Compass Rose Point which offers gorgeous views of the Long Island Sound. Please enjoy these photographic highlights and join me in congratulating Liz and Robbie!
